Dear Mr. Bergman:
The U.S. Nuclear Regulatory Commission (NRC) staff is preparing a safety evaluation (SE) with open items (OIs) for each chapter of the NuScale Power, LLC (NuScale) Design Certification Application submitted by NuScale on January 6, 20171.
