' Sumarv of '"est on the Onerabilit r of the Faercency "otification Systen ( C';S ') vith Loss of Offsite Power On Friday morning, Septenber 26, 1980 EG&E conducted a test of 1

its &.erstency ?!otification System (E':3).

'"he test vas conducted in -

accorhnee with -IE Bulletin,80-15.

In the test the main disconnect was opened, thus' interrunting all AC power to the telechone equipment. _At that' time the BG&E shift supervisor called the fiRC's Pethesda Office via the E';3-telenhone verifyinr the overability of the system durine loss of offsite cover. Upon completion of the test, the AC cover vas restored i-returning the system to its nornal operating mode.
