CRBRP REQUEST FOR AUTHORIZATION TO PROCEED WITH LIMITED CONSTRUCTION ACTIVITIES The Department of Energy, for itself and on behalf of Project Management Corporation and the Tennessee Valley Authority (the Applicants), hereby requests authorization to proceed with limited construction activities for the Clinch River Breeder Reactor Plant (CRBRP) pursuant to 10 C.F.R. 50.10 (e). This request covers installation of the foundation base mat and lower containment rings after completion of site preparation activi-ties. Seventy copies of the " Limited Construction Activities Report,"

addressing the scope and schedule of activities to be pursued, are enclosed.

The Applicants intend to pursue this authorization in accordance with the schedule recommended in our July 2, 1982, notification and recommen-dations concerning hearing schedule. We will appreciate your support of this schedule, also.
