Gasser. This draft report satisfies the preliminary report milestone for Task I as defined in the revised 189, Safety Evaluation of Core-Melt Accidents:

CP, ML and OL Applicants (FIN A-3399).

~ This report was due on August 31; however, I requested an extension to this deadline to incorporate the findings of a recent memorandum on the Grand-Gulf RSSMAP study by Wayne 'Hodges (DSI/NRR/NRC). The RSSMAP study was used by Ron Gasser as a basis for selecting accident sequences in his preliminary analysis of the Grand Gulf Plant.
