US Nuclear Regulatory Commission Attn: Document Control Desk Washington, D.C. 20555 MONTICELLO NUCLEAR GENERATING PLANT Docket No. 50-263 License No. DPR-22 Inservice inspection (ISI) Examination Summary Report - Refuelino Outaae No.17 Enclosed for your information are four copies of the Inservice inspection (ISI) examination summary report for the 1994 Monticello refueling outage (Refueling Outage No.17). The 1994 outage represented the second inspection conducted for first period of Monticello's third 10-year ISI interval.

The enclosed report identifies components examined, the examination methods used, the examination number, and summarizes the results. The examination plan focused on: 1) the pressure retaining components and their supports associated with the reactor coolant system and associated syste,ns classified as ASME Classes 1 and 2,2) reactor vessel examination,

3) systein pressure testing, and 4) snubber inservice testing. All anomalies were either corrected or an engineering evaluation was performed to accept "as-is" conditions.

This letter contains no new NRC commitments, nor does it modify any prior commitments.
