VIRGINIA ELECTRIC AND POWER COMPANY SURRY POWER STATION UNITS 1 AND 2 NORTH ANNA. POWER STATION UNITS 1 AND 2 IMPLEMENTATION OF EkERGENCY RESPONSE DATA SYSTEM As identified in our {{letter dated|date=October 17, 1991|text=October 17,1991 letter}} (Serial No. 91583), training of Emergency Communicators was necessary-prior to declaring the ERDS fully operable at Surry and North Anna Power Stations. This training was whoduled for completion by the 1, of December 1991. The purpose of this letter is to advise you that this training has Deen completed at both Surry and North Anna. Therefore, the ERDS at both stations is now considered fully operable and prepared to transmit data in the event of an emergency.

When a periodic test plan is developed and implemented at Surry and North Anna, implementation of the ERDS at both stations will be in complete accordance with the guidance provided in NUREG 1394, Revision 1.
