Dear Mr. Denton:

i The reference (a) letter proposed to amend Section 6 of the Technical Specifications for Facility Operating Licenses DPR-29 and 30 for Quad Cities Units 1 and 2, respectively.

Reference (b) provided additional l

supplemental chan5es to Section 6 resulting in part from the issuance of revised reporting requirements in 10 CFR 50.72 and 50.73.

As a result of organizational changes in our corporate and station managenent structure, this transmittal provides adelitional changes to Section 6 of the Technical Specifications which supplement those previously submitted. Pursuant to 10 i

CFR 50.90, we request your review and approval of these amendments.

The proposed amendmento for Quad cities Units 1 and 2 are provided in Attachments 1 and 2, respectively. To facilitate your review, these amendments incorporate all changes previously submitted in addition to the i

new organisational changes. Therefore, these proposed amendments entirely supercede the references (a) and (b) submittals. The additional changes a

beyond those previously submitted are sutunarized in Attachment 3.

The revision bars in Attachments 1 and 2 reflect all changes relative to the currently approved Quad Cities Technical Specifications.

l The proposed chan5es have been On-Site and Off-Site reviewed and approved. We have reviewed the additional Technical Specification 4

amendments included in this transmittal and determincd that no significant hasards consideration exists. Our review is documented in Attachment 4.

Conunonwealth Edison is notifying the State of Illinou of this supplemental request by transmittal of a copy of this letter and its attachments to the l

designated State Official.
