Dear Mr. Arthur:

My staff has completed their review of the December 9, 1987, Remedial Action Inspection Plan (RAIP) for the Riverton VMTRA Project.

Their review was limited to the portions of the RAIP dealing with the contaminatcd material that will be removed from the site.

As the excavation of contaminated material will conform to the limits established by "Health Physics Personnel" (RAIP Section 4.2.2), the Riverton RAIP is acceptable.
