Subject: Inspection Report No. 50-352/88-18

This refers to the routine safety inspection conducted by Messrs. A. Krasopoulos

and J. Lara of this office on August 16-19, 1988 of activities authorized by

NRC License No. NPF-39 and to the discussions of our findings held by

A. Krasopoulos and J. Lara with Mr. G. M. Leitch of your staff at the conclu-

sion of the inspection.

Areas examin1d during this inspection are described in the NRC Region I

Inspection Report which is enclosed with this letter. Within these areas, the

inspection consisted of selective examinations of procedures and representative

records, interviews with personnel, and observations by the inspector.

Our inspector also verified the steps you have taken to correct the violation

brought to your attention in our letter dated December 30, 1987. We have no

further questions regarding your action at this time.

Within the scope of this inspection, no violations were observed.

No reply to this letter is required. Your cooperation with us in this matter
