REVIEW OF TOPICAL REPORT BAW-10153P " EXTENDED BURNUP EVALUATION". BABC0CK AND WILCOX (TACS 48917)

Enclosed are the results of our review of the Babcock and Wilcox report BAW-10153P, " Extended Burnup Evaluation." We have concluded, as a result of our review of the report, that B&W's design and analysis process with respect to burnup considerations is acceptable.

This review was performed with the assistance of Battelle Pacific Northwest Laboratory under FIN B2533. This concludes our work on TACS 48917.

The evaluation includes an assessment of the radiological consequences of accidents involving extended burnup fuel by the Accident Evaluation Branch.
