For several years, PECO Energy Company has actively supported industry efforts to develop a stable and efficient license renewal process. As part of this support, PBAPS, Units 2 and 3 was one of five industry participants which developed samples of a license renewal application and supporting technical information for NRC review as a part of the NEl demonstration project in 1996. Presently, PECO Energy Company is working with Southern Nuclear Operating Company and Northern States Power in a teaming effort to develop sections of a license renewal application which can be used on our respective plants.
