The commitment to perform the calendar year 2020 annual evacuation drill for the criticality alarm was temporarily changed from annual to biennial.
In the Reference 2 letter, the U.S. Nuclear Regulatory Commission (NRG), granted Louisiana Energy Services, LLC ("LES"), dba URENCO USA ("UUSA"), relief from a license commitment to conduct an annual Criticality Accident Alarm System (CAAS) evacuation drill. The commitment to perform the calendar year 2020 annual evacuation drill for the criticality alarm was temporarily changed from annual to biennial.
Pursuant to the Reference 2 letter and in accordance with commitments in the Reference 1 submittal, UUSA hereby informs the NRG that the biennial CAAS evacuation drill required by Materials License SNM-2010, Amendment 89, Condition 34, was complete on June 22nd, 2021.
