| On behalf of the U.S. Nuclear Regulatory Commission (NRC, the Commission), I am responding to your May 20, 2021, request to the Secretary of the Commission to extend the public comment period for the license transfer application filed by Exelon Generation Company, LLC on February 25, 2021. The NRC has decided to extend the public comment period by 3 weeks to allow more time for members of the public to develop and submit their comments. Comments should be filed no later than June 23, 2021. Comments received after this date will be considered, if it is practical to do so, but the Commission is able to ensure consideration only for comments received on or before this date. The Notice of this extension is scheduled to be published in the Federal Register on June 2, 2021 (see Docket ID: NRC-2021-0099 in Regulations.gov).
