Re: La Crosse Boiling Water Reactor The Commission has issued the enclosed Amendment No. 50 to Provisional Oper-ating License No. DPR'45 for the la Crosse Boiling Water Reactor (LACBWR).

This amendment is in response to your application dated February 21, 1986.

Additional changes requested in this application will be addressed in future licensing actions.

The amendment revises the wording of the Technical Specification regarding Reactor Coolant Chemistry to help ensure that plant personnel will uniformly interpret necessary actions to be taken.

A copy of our related Safety Evaluation is also enclosed. The Notice of Issuance will be included in the Commission's biweekly Federal Register notices.
