Dear Mr. Hamilton:

This letter confirms the conversation between Mr. Jim Weast, of your staff, and Mr. Mike Ernstes, of this office, concerning a Category 1 meeting which has been scheduled for April 24, 2006, at 10:00 a.m. The purpose of the meeting is to discuss the NRC Reactor Oversight Process Annual Assessment of your Oconee Nuclear Station. The meeting notice, which provides additional details, is enclosed.
