Daily Report for July 27, 2007 Indian Point Energy Center Status Report

lJohn White - Daily Report for July 27, 2007 Page 21 July 27, 2007 Operational Status Indian Point Unit 2 is operating at 100 percent power and has been online for 58 days. Unit 3 is operating at 100 percent reactor power and has been on line for 86 days.

Emergency Notification System Today Indian Point Site Vice President Fred Dacimo and Entergy personnel met with NRC Commissioner Gregory B. Jaczko and county, state and federal representatives. The meeting, which took place at the Hudson Valley Traffic Management Center in Hawthorne, was held to discuss the status of Indian Point's emergency notification system. Mr. Dacimo described the actions Entergy is taking to resolve system reliability issues. Discussion also included Entergy's meeting with the Federal Emergency Management Agency, held on July 25, and outlined issues that FEMA and Entergy are working to resolve.

Educational Outreach Entergy Nuclear Northeast provides customized outreach education programs for schools, youth groups, and civic organizations. The topics we cover include Emergency Planning, Understanding Radiation, Nuclear Fuel and a general overview of the operations of Indian Point Energy Center.
