OF TELEPHONE CONFERENCE CALL HELD ON DECEMBER 3, 2008, BETWEEN THE U.S. NUCLEAR REGULATORY COMMISSION AND NORTHERN STATES POWER, CONCERNING FOLLOW-UP QUESTIONS PERTAINING TO THE PRAIRIE ISLAND NUCLEAR GENERATING STATION, UNITS 1 AND 2 LICENSE RENEWAL ENVIRONMENTAL REVIEW AND SITE AUDIT The U.S. Nuclear Regulatory Commission (NRC or the staff) and representatives of Northern States Power (NSP), held a telephone conference call on December 3, 2008, to discuss and provide additional information regarding the staff's follow-up questions resulting from the August 18-22, 2008, environmental site audit of Prairie Island Nuclear Generating Plant, Units 1 and 2 (PINGP 1 and 2). Enclosure 1 provides a listing of participants of the conference call.

Enclosure 1 provides a listing of participants of the conference call.
In response to the staff's questions, NSP agreed to provide the following items: fish impingement summary data from the PINGP Annual Environmental Reports 1974-1985 and the Proposal for Information Collection, submitted under the Clean Water Act 316(b) regulations to the Minnesota Pollution Control Agency. These items were submitted by NSP as a supplement to Appendix E of the license renewal application (the environmental report) by letter dated December 15, 2008.
