dated May 31, 2011 The purpose of this letter is to notify the Nuclear Regulatory Commission (NRC) of a change in the submittal schedule for License Amendment Requests (LARs) supporting the Sequoyah Nuclear Plant (SQN), Unit 2, Steam Generator Replacement Project.

The Tennessee Valley Authority (TVA) plans to replace the SQN, Unit 2, steam generators in the Cycle 18 Refueling Outage, scheduled to start in the fall 2012.

U.S. Nuclear Regulatory Commission Page 2 June 30, 2011 By letters dated April 29, 2011 (Reference 1) and May 31, 2011 (Reference 2), the TVA provided submittal schedules for LARs supporting the SQN, Unit 2, Steam Generator Replacement Project. Due to the need for additional evaluations and reviews, the schedule for submittal of these LARs is as follows.

• The request for a one-time use for two 18-inch hatches in the shield building roof, scheduled to be submitted by June 30, 2011, will now be submitted by August 1,2011.

• The request for a one-time use for movements of heavy loads, scheduled to be submitted by July 22, 2011, will now be submitted by August 31, 2011.

" The request to revise steam generator inspections will be submitted by September 30, 2011, as indicated in the Reference 2 letter.

The submittal schedule for these LARs supports a one year NRC review time prior to the requested approval date.
