In a telephone conversation on January 12, 2016 , Mr. R. K. Walton , from Operator Licensing Branch , and M r. J. Clark , Donald C. Cook Licensed Operator Requalification Training Supervisor
, made arrangements for the U.S. Nuclear Regulatory Commission (NRC) to inspect the licensed operator requalification program at the Donald C. Cook Nuclear Power Plant
. The inspection is planned for the week of February 29 , 2016, which coincides with your regularly scheduled requalification examination cycle. The staff at your facility should prepare and conduct the requalification examinations in accordance with your NRC
-approved requalification program. In accordance with Title 10 of the Code of Federal Regulations (10 CFR) 55.59(c), the NRC may request facility licensees to submit their biennial comprehensive requalification written examinations or annual operating tests as necessary to support the NRC's inspection program needs. In order for the NRC to adequately prepare for this inspection, please furnish the written examinations and operating tests scheduled to be administered the weeks of February 22 and February 29, 2016 , to the NRC by February 22, 2016. M r. J. Clark has been advised of this request and provided with the name and address of the NRC lead inspector assigned to this inspection.

REQUALIFICATION PROGRAM INSPECTION - DONALD C. COOK NUCLEAR POWER PLANT

Dear Mr. Weber:

In a telephone conversation on January 12, 2016, Mr. R. K. Walton, from Operator Licensing Branch, and Mr. J. Clark, Donald C. Cook Licensed Operator Requalification Training Supervisor, made arrangements for the U.S. Nuclear Regulatory Commission (NRC) to inspect the licensed operator requalification program at the Donald C. Cook Nuclear Power Plant. The inspection is planned for the week of February 29, 2016, which coincides with your regularly scheduled requalification examination cycle. The staff at your facility should prepare and conduct the requalification examinations in accordance with your NRC-approved requalification program.

In accordance with Title 10 of the Code of Federal Regulations (10 CFR) 55.59(c), the NRC may request facility licensees to submit their biennial comprehensive requalification written examinations or annual operating tests as necessary to support the NRC's inspection program needs. In order for the NRC to adequately prepare for this inspection, please furnish the written examinations and operating tests scheduled to be administered the weeks of February 22 and February 29, 2016, to the NRC by February 22, 2016. Mr. J. Clark has been advised of this request and provided with the name and address of the NRC lead inspector assigned to this inspection.
