Dear Mr. Marakah: | |||
On November 1, 2018, we received your letter dated October 30, 2018 (NRC Agencywide | |||
Documents Access and Management System (ADAMS) Accession ML18310A094) responding | |||
to the U.S. Nuclear Regulatory Commissions (NRCs) Notice of Violation; EA-18-102, dated | |||
October 4, 2018. The Notice of Violation cited Midwest Engineering and Testing Corporation | |||
with a failure to file for reciprocity at least 3 days prior to engaging in licensed activities in areas | |||
of exclusive federal jurisdiction. After reviewing the information provided in your response, we | |||
have concluded that your corrective actions appear to adequately address the regulatory | |||
noncompliance. Please note that we may, at a future date, perform an inspection of your | |||
activities operating under a general license pursuant to 10 CFR 150.20, at which time we will | |||
review the implementation of your corrective actions to determine that compliance has been | |||
maintained. | |||
In accordance with 10 CFR 2.390 of the NRC's "Rules of Practice," a copy of this letter will be | |||
made available electronically for public inspection in the NRC Public Document Room or from | |||
the NRCs Agencywide Documents Access Management System (ADAMS), accessible from the | |||
NRCs website at http://www.nrc.gov/reading-rm/adams.html. The NRC also includes significant | |||
enforcement actions on its website at http://www.nrc.gov/reading-rm/doc- | |||
collections/enforcement/actions. | |||
