Transmitted herewith is Licensee Event Report No.89-015 for the WNP-2 Plant.This report is submitted in response to the report requirements of 10CFR50.73 and discusses the items of reportability, corrective action taken, and action taken to preclude recurrence.

It should be noted that this event was not verbally reported to the NRC within the four-hour time frame required by 10CFR50.72 (the event time was 0315 hours0.00365 days <br />0.0875 hours <br />5.208333e-4 weeks <br />1.198575e-4 months <br /> on Hay 12, 1989).The Shift Hanager erred in overlooking the verbal notification requirement.
