Dear Mr. Nazar:

Enclosed for your information is the synopsis of the Nuclear Regulatory Commission (NRC)

Office of Investigations (OI) completed report regarding discriminatory employment practices.

OI determined that there was insufficient evidence to substantiate the allegation that a former contractor general foreman was discriminated against by being laid off in June of 2009 in retaliation for cooperating with an NRC OI investigation in August of 2007. We plan no further action with regard to this matter. Should you have any questions concerning this letter, please contact us.

In accordance with 10 CFR 2.390 of the NRC's "Rules of Practice," a copy of this letter and its enclosure will be available electronically for public inspection in the NRC Public Document Room or from the Publicly Available Records (PARS) component of NRC's document system (ADAMS). - OI Investigation Information Case No.: 2-2011-049 Enclosure SYNOPSIS This investigation was initiated by the U. S. Nuclear Regulatory Commission (NRC), Office of Investigations (OI), Region II (RII), on July 29, 2011, to determine whether a Former Contracted General Foreman at the Saint Lucie Nuclear Plant (SLNP) was discriminated against for participating in a protected activity.

Based upon the evidence developed during this investigation, OI:RII did not substantiate that the former contracted General Foreman at the SLNP was discriminated against for participating in a protected activity.
