General Details:
The NRC conducted an open house beginning at 6:00 p.m. central daylight time (CDT) where members of the public met informally with NRC staff to discuss Byron Station's performance and NRC oversight. The meeting was scheduled from 6:00 - 7:30 p.m. CDT and ended about 8:00 p.m.  
 
Four NRC staff members were present, including the Branch Chief, Regional Public Affairs Officer, and both Resident Inspectors. No facilitator was needed.

NRC staff members greeted attendees as they arrived and offered a description of the purpose of the meeting and discussion of Byron's 2013 performance. Byron operated safely in 2013, with no significant inspection findings or negative performance indicators. Copies of the NRC's 2013 assessment letter were available. Contact information for the Byron Resident Inspectors and meeting feedback forms were also provided.
