Purpose:

The staff will generally discuss its request for additional information (RAI) regarding its review of the Department of Commerce, National Institute of Standards And Technology (NIST) license renewal application dated August 8, 2023 (Agencywide Documents Access and Management System (ADAMS) Accession No. ML23220A398) prior to issuance. The meeting discussions are aimed at ensuring that there is mutual understanding, by both the applicant and the NRC staff, of the questions in the RAI (ADAMS Accession Nos.

ML23320A135 and ML23320133), to allow NIST staff to adequately respond, and for the NRC staff to adequately and efficiently conduct its review of the application.
