Dear Mr. Martin:

Today is a day when.there is a lot of reaction 'of liberalistic people against our nuclear industry.

They publicly boast that they have all but. destroyed the nuclear plants in America.

Just recently a rally of those opposed to the restarting of the Three Mile Island plant met in a park in Harrisburgh, Fa.,

to try to influence our Governor against the restarting of this fine installation.

This i s sad.

It should be remembered that nuclear ener6y is the cleanest, safest form of energy known to mankind.

It is clearly a 61f t of our God, who mandated man to " replenish the' earth and subdue it."

It is not a form of uranium that will blow up and endanger people around it.

Even the accident at.TMI raveals that it was not dangerous to 4

people in its community.

The information came to me that

the. area to which the people were removed had far more

. radiation than their home area around TMI.

The purpose of anti-nuclear activists is not to co-operate with those who are trying to give America the fine st form. of power known to man today.

It is sad that Europe has many more plants than we do, and they get their materials for building them from American manufacturers.

It is my hope - that we may see great strides in our nuclear industry, and the best way to see that is to eliminate many of the un-necessary controls placed upon industry as they develop this much needed energy source.

Dear Governor Thornburgs-There was.a recent warning that America should be p

alerted to the activities of terrorists.

We see the late activities of the MOVE terrorists in their. threat to des-

-troy their community and the subsequent burning of-about 50 dwellings there.

Regarding our nuclear plant at Three Mile Island, it is pretty olear that this nooident was a result of salevo-lent mots.

Recently a sabateur was found amon5 the workdes at-the.Liarick nuclear plant.

God has given us the nuclear invention for our good.

Ah Unfortunately what people do not understand they instinctively

But nuclear energy is the cleanest, satost form of energy known to man.

Those who oppose it are opposed to the margh of progress, like the pheasant that rushed out to uset e "y' the p& anes-that landed at the new air pert, until she got

The - paper carried the sooount of the anti-nuclear rally in the park there at Harrisburg a few days ago.

The activists themselves have declared they will not pay their bills, which makes us pay even more.

These anti-THI rallies remind one of the ruthless sob that oried Screcify Him, crucify Him," and put the Savior on the oross, when the Roman law and Filate were determined to let His go, and found no fault in Him.

These days are days when we are decidin8 whether we will be ruled by the mob --

people of-limited knowledge and intelligence like the Del-Aware group, or whether it will be our elected officials that REV. ALVIN J. FAINE (3,4 will decide these matters.
