Niagara Mohawk Power Corporation's (NMPC) letter dated December 15,1997 (NMP2L 1740), submitted a proposed change to' the Technical Specifications (TS) set forth in Appendix A to the above mentioned license. The proposed change revises the Safety Limit Minimum Critical Power Ratio (MCPR) to reflect the cycle specific operating limits.
Niagara Mohawk Power Corporation's (NMPC) {{letter dated|date=December 15, 1997|text=letter dated December 15,1997}} (NMP2L 1740), submitted a proposed change to' the Technical Specifications (TS) set forth in Appendix A to the above mentioned license. The proposed change revises the Safety Limit Minimum Critical Power Ratio (MCPR) to reflect the cycle specific operating limits.
A telephone conference was held between NMPC and the NRC Staff on March 24,1998, which resulted in the addition of a footnote to the respective TS pages. Attachment A to this-letter submits revised pages 2-1, 3/4 4-1, and B2-1 to replace the previously submitted pages 2-1,3/4 4-1, ana B2-1 that were contained within Attachment A of the December 15, 1997 submittal. Attachment B to this letter provides a marked up copy of the revised pages 2-1, 3/4 4-1, and B2-1 to replace the marked-up copy of pages 2-1, 3/4 4-1, and B2-1 included in Attachment C of the December 15,1997 submittal. The revised pages add a footnote to the TS and TS Bases stating that the Safety Limit MCPR values are applicable to Cycle 7 operat'on only.
