^1, June 19, 1989 U. S. Nuclear Regulatory Commission Washington, D.C. 20555 Attention: Document Control Desk Subj ect: McGuire Nuclear Station j Docket Nos. 50-369, 370 (TAC's-71963/71964)
In letters dated January 22, 1989 and May 17, 1989 I submitted revised heat-up 1 and cooldown limitation curves for McGuire Units 1 and 2. These were discussed with NRC staff snembers D. S. Hood and B. J. Elliot in a telephone conference on June 15, 1989.
As a result of this call, I have attached revised curves for McGuire Units 1 and 2 heatup limitations (T.S. Figures 3.4-2 and 3.4-3) and Unit I cooldown limitations (T.S. Figure 3.4-4). This revision changes the footnote for RT after 10EFPY at 1/4 T and 3/4 T on Figures 3.4-2 and 3.4-4 to agree with theET correct Westinghouse data originally attached to my January 22 letter.
Additionally, as discussed on June 15, the Unit I curver have also been revised to accurately reflect the Westinghouse data developed using Regulatory Guide 1.99, Rev. 2. This Westinghouse data was contained in a report dated November 1988 and attached to my original submittal of January 22. Finally, the Unit 2 heatup curve (Figure 3.4-3) is revised to correct a printing error and to ensure agreement with WCAP-11029.
Please contact J. S. Warren at (704) 373-2627 if there are further questions or conunents on this manner.
