Following repairs, power was increased to 90% on March _9, 1987, where it remained until March 31, 1987, when the unit was placed on operating reserve with a power increase requested to 100%. The reporting period ended with the unit in Mode 1 at approximately 99% power, increasing to i

100%.

3 Gross Electrical Generation for the month of March was 678,430 MWH.

SUMMARY

l 3-6-87 At 2200, started decreasing power from 90% to 57% at 6%/hr.

for main feedpump maintenance.

3-7-87 At 0730, stopped power reduction at 57%.

At 1330, continued decreasing power to 33% to allow repair of a steam leak at the intersection of the high pressure turbine 1st stage drain and the 2nd stage extraction.

3-8-87 At 0240 stabilized at 33% power.

3-9-87 At 0135, began increasing power at 6% an hour.

At 0415, stopped power increase at 48% for chemical hold point.

At 0520, continued increasing power.

At 1740, stabilized power at 90%.

3-31-87 At 1045, began increaeing power to 100% at 2% an hour due to system on operating reserve.

1 At 1445, held power at 98% to dampen negative flux shift.

l At 2148, continued power increase at approximately 2% an hour.
