Dear Sir or Madam:

This letter is a formal Freedom of Information Act request that the NRC mail me, at the above address, a com-plete copy of the entire NRC file concerning Eddie Stites' charge of discriminatory employment practices in violation of the Energy Reorganization Act filed against Houston Lighting and Power Company.

Mr. Stites filed his charge on April 14, 1987.

In addition, I request that you send me any documents prepared for and/or used at the meeting held on i

November 3, 1986 between the NRC and Houston Lighting and Power Company at the NRC Region IV office.

I am referring to Dockets 50-498 and 50-499.

This request is made pursuant to 5 U.S.C. S 552(a) (3) and 10 C.F.R. 9.8.

It is my under-standing that all or most of the records are in the NRC Region IV office.

If any or part of my request is denied, please state the reason for the denial, list the specific exemptions which are being claimed, and the name and title or position of each person responsible for the denial of the request, including the head of the office recommending denial of the request as provided in 10 C.F.R. 9.10 (b).

Pursuant to 10 C.F.R. 9.14, I will reimburse the NRC for any costs for searching and copying the requested documents, including the costs for any ccmputer searches.

address, a complete, certified copy of the entire file con-cerning Mr. Eddie Stites' charge of discriminatory employment practices in violation of the Energy Reorganization Act filed against Houston Lighting and Power Company, excluding those documents the ecunpany submitted to the Department of Labor during its investigation of the charge.

The charge by Mr. Stites was filed on April 14, 1987.

This request is made pursuant to 5 U.S.C. S 552 (a) (3) and 29 C.F.R. 70,42.
