SUBJECT: NRC INSPECTION REPORT 50-382/98-13

Dear Mr. Dugger:

From August 31 through September 1, and October 5-8,1998, a medium- and low-voltage

power circuit breaker inspection was conducted at your Waterford Steam Electric Station,

. Unit 3, reactor facility. The enclosed report presents the scope and results of that inspection.

At the conclusion of the inspection, the findings were discussed with you and those members

of your staff identified in the report.

in accordance with 10 CFR 2.790 of the NRC's " Rules of Practice," a copy of this letter and its

enclosure will be placed in the NRC Public Document Room (PDR).
