Dear Mr. Hill:

This refers to the performance appraisal conducted by Dr. J. B. Nicholas of this office during the period October 13-14, 1988, for the NRC/ State of Arkansas Environmental Monitoring Cooperative Agreement around Arkansas Nuclear One, and to the discussion of the appraisal results with Ms. F. Dobbins and other members of your staff on October 14, 1988.

Based on the appraisal results, we identified some apparent inconsistencies that require further discussion. These concerns will be addressed in a separate letter to you from the Contracting Officer.

Should you have any questions concerning this appraisal, we will be pleased to discuss them with you.
