This letter transmits the Noise Study data taken to implement Specification 2.3/3.3 of Appendix B to Operating License DPR-44 and DPR-56. The data was requested during the June 30, 1983 telephone conversation with W.C. Birely on this subject. It is our understanding that the staff wishes to review the data during their consideration to delete this provision from Appendix B. | |||
The data is presented on the six surveillance test forms attached, covering the first six quarters of commercial operation (Unit #2, commercial July 5, 1974; Unit #3 commercial December 23, 1974). The noise level measurements meet the criteria of Specification 2.3. Additionally, plant management personnel present at the site since commercial operation, is unaware of any complaints from the public regarding noise emanating from the plant. | |||
