Importance:                 High The proposed subject amendment dated March 27, 2014 (Agencywide Documents Access and Management System Accession No. ML14086A426) and supplemented by letter dated February 19, 2015 (ADAMS Accession No. ML15050A389), would revise technical specification (TS) surveillance requirements (SRs) associated with emergency diesel generators (DGs) for Diablo Canyon Power Station, Units 1 and 2. The proposed changes reflect the results of a revised load study analysis, as well as a revision to the DG 30-minute load rating. These changes were submitted to address multiple issues identified by U.S. Nuclear Regulatory Commission (NRC) and Pacific Gas and Electric Company (PG&E or the licensee) investigations, and are intended to correct various non-conservative TS SRs/values associated with DG testing.
