Dear Mr. Crane:
On March 22, 2007, the U.S. Nuclear Regulatory Commission (NRC) issued Confirmatory Action Letter (CAL) No. NRR-07-012 (Agencywide Documents Access and Management System (ADAMS) Accession No. ML070740325) regarding dissimilar metal welds in the pressurizer at Byron Station (Byron), Unit No. 2. This letter acknowledges receipt of your letter dated June 4, 2007 (ADAMS Accession No. ML071560272) informing the NRC of actions taken in response to this CAL.
In your letter, you stated the actions and commitments confirmed in CAL No. NRR-07-012 have been completed for Byron, Unit No. 2.
