Docket No. 50-219 Technical Specification Change Request (TSCR) No. 180 In accordance with 10CFR50.90 and 10CFR50.91 GPU Nuclear Corporation, operator of the Oyster Creek Nuclear Generating Station, Provisional Operating License No. DPR-16, requests a change to Appendix-A of the license.

Generic Letter 88-16 provides guidance for Technical Specification changes concerning cycle-specific limits which are intended to eliminate an unnecercary resource burden for both GPU Nuclear and the NRC.

Consistent with Generic Letter 88-16, TSCR No. 180 modifies the Technical Specifications such that fuel cycle-specific parameters are maintained within the limits provided in the' Core Operating Limits Report (COLR). The proposed change also provides supporting definitions and administrative reporting requirements.

A copy of the COLR in attached.

This change reqwcat has been reviewed in accordance with Section 6.5 of the Oyster Creek Technical Specifications.

Pursuant to 10 CFR 50.91(b)(1), a copy of this: change request has been sent to the State of New Jersey Department of.
