TECHNICAL SPECI~ICATIONS CHANGE REQUEST ~ALTERNATE SHUTDOWN AND EMERGENCY LIGHTING SYSTEMS

• Attached are three (3) originals and thirty-seven (37) conformed copies of a request for change to the Palisades Technical Specifications.

The attached proposed change to Palisades Technical Specifications provide new specif ica-tions for the Alternate Shutdown System and new surveillance requirements for the Emergency Lighting Systems.

These changes are required to. reflect the modifications to the Palisades associated with the requirem~nts of Appendix R of 10CFR50 and to clarify surveillance requirements associated with the Emergency Lighting Systems.

Request for Change includes Consumers Power Company's analysis that these proposed changes do not pose any significant hazards considerations.

As required by 10CFR170.21 a check, ;in the amount of $150.00 is enc.losed.
