REQUEST FOR INITIATING EVENTS DATA In response to your request, I have attached the initiating events data you requested. The data consist of three tables from Appendix D: Tables D-5, D-8, and D-13, of the draft report, Rates of Initiating Events at U.S. Nuclear Power Plants: Update 1987-1998," NUREG/CR-5750, Addendum (DRAFT), March 2000. As I mentioned, this draft report did not receive the same peer review and quality assurance as the original report, and the updated final report has not been published. Since that time, a few minor inconsistencies in this data have been discovered, and therefore there have been a few very minor changes in the data.
