The Nuclear Regulatory Commissions Advisory Committee on Reactor Safeguards (ACRS) will hold a public meeting Feb. 7-9 in Rockville, Md., to discuss, among other items, final review of the license renewal application for the Vermont Yankee nuclear power station; proposed licensing strategy for the next generation nuclear plants; and results of the (nuclear plant) cable response to live fire testing and fire model improvement program.
Portions of this meeting may be closed to protect information that is proprietary and are identified in the agenda.
The ACRS advises the Commission on licensing and operation of nuclear power plants and related safety issues.
