PEACH BOTTOM REVIEW TEAM FINDINGS In December 2007, I tasked a team to review and evaluate NRC actions associated with the review of allegation and inspection activities related to inattentive security officers at the Peach Bottom nuclear power plant in 2007 and determine lessons-learned. The team made a thorough, independent, and supportable assessment of whether the NRCs allegation and inspection programs should be changed to more effectively evaluate and respond to allegations and to more effectively conduct inspections to detect inattentive security officers at nuclear facilities. The team, led by Marc Dapas, Deputy Regional Administrator, ZRegion I, issued a report of its findings to me on February 6, 2008.
