This refers to an investigation conducted by the NRC's Office of Investigations regarding activities at Comanche Peak Nuclear Power Plant. The Office of Investigations initiated the investigation to determine whether personnel at Luminant Generation Company LLC's Comanche Peak Nuclear Power Plant, Glen Rose, Texas, willfully tampered with the Halon fire protection system and the electrical room sprinkler system.
Based on the evidence developed during the investigation, the allegation that Luminant Generation Company LLC personnel assigned to the Comanche Peak Nuclear Power Plant willfully tampered with the Halon fire protection system and the electrical room sprinkler system was not substantiated. The NRC plans no further action related to the willful aspect of this allegation and considers this investigation closed.
