The proposed amendment implements the latest revision of 10 CFR 20 and incorporates guidance from Section 2.4 of Regulatory Guide 8N10 and minor editorial changes.                               In addition, TVA plans to implement the revised 10 CFR 20 on January 1, 1994.

TVA has         evaluated the proposed technical specification amendment             against the criteria provided by 10 CFR 50.92 and has determined that no significant hazards considerations are involved. A reason for each change, description, and justification in support of the proposed amendment is enclosed (Enclosure 2). A proposed determination of no significant hazards considerations is contained in Enclosure 3. We request that these specifications be made effective 30 days after issuance.
