SAN LUIS OBISPO COUNTY SANTA BARBARA COUNTY and No Significant Hazards Determination. We support the safe restart of the San LOCAL 220            Onofre Nuclear Generating Station.
HOLLYWOOD LOCAL 724 The NRC has been entrusted with ensuring the safety of nuclear facilities and their workers, many of whom are members of the Laborers Local Unions in Southern LONG BEACH                California, Making sure our members have weii-paying jobs is important, but nothing is LOCAL 507 more vital than the safety of ithe workers and the general public. I would not allow my LOS ANGELES              members to work in an environnment that is unsafe.
LOCAL 300 I have attended recent NRC meetings and have been closely watching this issue for ORANGE COUNTY LOCAL 652            several months. I am taken back by the way the regulatory process has deteriorated into a politicized, one-sided circus. A vocal minority is being permitted to highjack POMONA important proceedings and undermine public engagement.
LOCAL  1414 On matters as important and complex as the restart of a nuclear power plant, the NRC RIVERSIDE-IMPERIAL        must safeguard the integrity of what historically has been a rigorous regulatory process COUNTIES                  to ensure public safety. The focus must be on science and technology.
LOCAL  1184 SAN  BERNARDINO          The NRC must ensure all voices are heard and (onduct ffself as an honest broker of all INYO-MONO COUNTIES        opinions.
LOCAL 783 SAN DIEGO                We urge you to exercise youi oversight au-th0rity to prevent long-term damage to the LOCAL 89              integrity of the NRC. The future of energy in Southern California is depending upon a VENTURA rigorous, professional, and balanced regulatory process. Our safety depends on it.
