Dear Mr. Fiorelli:

• your letter, dated August 29, 1975, identified several areas of deviation from Edison standards . . This letter is in re-sponse. to those items.

• Basic designs for all new fire stops and repair of all deficicint fire s(ops call for.the use of a ceramic fiber filler/

thermal insulation cGvcred with Flam~mastic branch of fire re-tard~nt. Existing fire stops that are.in accordance with Sargent and Ltmdy st-andards EA-175, . EA-176, E}\-177, Ei\-178, or EA-179 will not be modified. *we estimate that this work should be completed in December, 1975. Any changes in design details necessitated by unforeseen field conditions will be incorporated in the final de-s.ign documents.
