CLINTON POWER STATION INDEPENDENT SPENT FUEL STORAGE INSTALLATION NRC SECURITY INSPECTION REPORT NOS. 05000461/2016408(DNMS) AND 07201046/2016401(DNMS)
Dear Mr. Hanson:
On June 22, 2016, the U.S. Nuclear Regulatory Commission (NRC) completed an inspection of the physical security program for the Independent Spent Fuel Storage Installation (ISFSI)
located at the Clinton Power Station (CPS) in Clinton, Illinois. The purpose of the inspection was to verify that the security program and protection for the ISFSI was incorporated into and in compliance with the plants Physical Security Plan (PSP), Safeguards Contingency Plan (SCP), Training and Qualification Plan (T&QP), NRC regulations, and U.S. NRC Safeguards Order EA-14-045, Order for Implementation of Additional Security Measures (ASMs) and Fingerprinting for Unescorted Access for Clinton Power Station (CPS) Independent Spent Fuel Storage Installation (ISFSI), dated April 21, 2014. At the conclusion of the on-site inspection on June 22, 2016, the inspector discussed the inspection findings with members of your security, licensing, and ISFSI project management staff.
