The Organizations respectfully submit that the should consider, at a minimum, the environmental concerns raised in their hearing request to NRC, which is now pending before the Atomic Safety and Licensing Board. On behalf of Southern Alliance for Clean Energy, the Sierra Club, Blue Ridge Environmental Defense League, Tennessee Environmental Council, and We the People ("Organizations"), I am submitting comments on the scope of the environmental impact statement ("EIS") for the proposed Watts Bar Unit 2 nuclear reactor. The Organizations respectfully submit that the EIS should consider, at a minimum, the environmental concerns raised in their hearing request to the NRC, which is now pending before the Atomic Safety and Licensing Board.
