This refers to an investigation conducted by the NRC's Office of Investigations regarding activities at South Texas Project. The Office of Investigations initiated the investigation to determine whether a performance technician at South Texas Project Electric Generating Station, Wadsworth, Texas, willfully tampered with a security lock on a delay gate located in the protected area.

Based on the evidence developed during the investigation, testimony, and document reviews, the allegation was not determined to be willful. The NRC plans no further action related to the willful aspect of this allegation and considers this investigation closed.
