By the above referenced
letter dated June 11, 2013, the NRC transmitted
Inspection
Report 05000263/2013008
for the Monticello
Nuclear Generating
Plant (MNGP). In the inspection
report the NRC identified
one finding and apparent violation
with a preliminary
significance
of Yellow for MNGP. In the referenced
letter, the NRC also provided Northern States Power Company, A Minnesota
Corporation, doing business as Xcel Energy (hereafter
NSPM), with the opportunity
to request a Regulatory
Conference
or submit our position in writing. NSPM appreciates
the opportunity
to present perspectives
on the facts and assumptions
regarding
the significance
determination
of the proposed finding and apparent violation, and therefore
elects to submit a position in writing on or before July 11, 2013. Summary of Commitments
