On May 16, 2013, a notification letter was sent to Fort Calhoun Station documenting the

examination material submittals needed to be revised. Therefore, this letter serves to document
the revised dates, as well as the revised assignment of Chief Examiner. These revisions are
based on discussions between Messrs. Dennis Dryden, Senior Operations Training Specialist,
Brian Larson, Chief Examiner, and Sean Hedger, Examiner, during the period from January 28
to February 24, 2014.
To meet the schedule of starting the examination on May 19, 2014, the operating tests and
supporting reference materials identified in Attachment 3 to ES-201 will be due by
March 31, 2014. The written examination and supporting reference materials will be due by
April 7, 2014. Pursuant to Title 10, Section 55.40(b)(3), of the Code of Federal Regulations
(10 CFR 55.40(b)(3)), an authorized representative of the facility licensee shall approve the
outlines, examinations, and tests before they are submitted to the NRC for review and approval.
All materials shall be complete and ready-to-use. We request that any personal, proprietary,
sensitive unclassified, or safeguards information in your response be contained in a separate
enclosure and appropriately marked. Any delay in receiving the required examinations and
reference materials, or the submittal of inadequate or incomplete materials, may cause the
examinations to be rescheduled. In addition, your support for on-site validation of the
examinations is required during the week of April 14, 2014. The Chief Examiner assigned to the
examination is Steve Garchow. All other due dates and requests documented in the
