Commission (NRC) in response to an NRC e-mail

request' dated November 3, 2008, regarding the

implementation of programs related to

Regulatory

Issue Summary (RIS) 2005-26, "Control of Sensitive

Unclassified

Nonsafeguards Information Related to Nuclear Power Reactors." Your staff's

response indicated that in

December 2006, a process was

implemented to review and mark

correspondence

addressed to the NRC

consistent

with RIS 2005-26 guidance, and that no

document types were excluded from this process. The e-mail request and

subsequent response are in the

NRC's Agencywide

Documents Access and

Management

System (ADAMS) at Accession No.

ML083380506. The NRC appreciates your response and plans to use your staff's

categorization

of documents when profiling Hope Creek
