I live 10 miles downstream of Vermont Yankee, and I am concerned about my safety, and the safety of everyone who lives in Greenfield and the surrounding areas.
Please strengthen the safety aspects of Vermont Yankee by:
: 1. expanding the evacuation zone from 10 miles to 50 miles -- as recommended by the NRC during the Fukushima disaster.
: 2. Keep the 15-minute warning alert system in place. Do not expand it to 60-minutes as requested by Entergy.
: 3. Please set up a system to move fuel into dry cask storage and better as soon as physically practical.
